As a Mom and someone who draws inspiration for my livlihood from Mother Nature, I am keenly aware of the role even my small business plays in impacting the blue marble that my son will one day inherit. For that reason, I have always sought to create items that are meant to be cherished and kept, thus reducing consumption and waste of natural resources. Reclaimed wood, much of which is sourced from architectural salvage, has been a staple in my art supply chest for as long as I can remember.

I continue to seek out packaging and shipping materials that have been, or can be, recycled or reused. And I only work with manufacturers who ensure my products are being made in safe environments where sustainability, eco-conscious practices and fair wages are the norm, both in the United States and Europe.
